Receiver High Data Rate Mode Equalizer

Description

Selects between the CTLE high gain mode or CTLE high data rate mode for the equalizer. For data rate greater than 17.4 Gbps, only high data rate mode is allowed. For data rate less than or equal to 17.4 Gbps, you can select between high gain mode and high data rate mode. If no assignment is made, S1_MODE is chosen by default for datarate less than or equal to 25.8 Gbps.

NON_S1_MODE

Off

Selects high gain mode for data rates up to 17.4 Gbps.

S1_MODE

On

Selects high data rate mode up to 25.8 Gbps. Power consumption reduces in high data rate mode, as compared to high gain mode, when operating below 17.4 Gbps. This mode is the only option above 17.4 Gbps.

Assign To

RX serial data pin.

Syntax

set_instance_assignment -name XCVR_A10_RX_ONE_STAGE_ENABLE <value> -to <rx_serial_data pin name>
