The number of errors depends upon the amount of time for each step and the quality of the physical link media.

The default value is 511.

127, 255

This timer is started when the local receiver is trained and detects that the remote receiver is ready to receive data. The local physical medium dependent (PMD) layer delivers wait_timer additional training frames to ensure that the link partner correctly detects the local receiver state.

The default value is 127.
