5.1.15. Drive Strength Requirement for GPIO Input Pins

Each GPIO input pin with programmable bus-hold or programmable pull-up feature enabled requires 1 mA of drive strength. The connected output buffer is required to provide a minimum of 1 mA to the pin. If an output buffer is driving two input pins, the output buffer needs to provide 2 mA to the input pins. The drive strength current should increase depending on the number of input pins driven by the output buffer.

If an output buffer is connected to multiple input pins and one of the input pins has programmable bus-hold or programmable pull-up feature enabled, ensure all of the other input pins have the same programmable feature enabled.
