4.7.4.1. Integrating a DSP Builder Design to a Platform Designer System

You can integrate the DSP Builder design with other Platform Designer components.

Procedure

  1. DSP Builder generates a <model>_hw.tcl file for the subsystem containing the Device block. This hardware Tcl file describes the synthesizable part of your design and ignores the testbench blocks.
  2. Add your DSP Builder design to Platform Designer by adding the directory that contains generated RTL files and the hardware Tcl file to the IP search path in the Platform Designer Options dialog box. Now your DSP Builder design appears in Platform Designer in DSP Builder Advanced library.
  3. You may instantiate and connect your DSP Builder design to other components in Platform Designer. For more information, refer to Platform Designer documentation.
