5.4. PDN Design Guideline for Unused F-Tile
If the entire F-Tile is not used on your PCB design, all F-Tile power rails (ending with _GXF) can be connected to GND. You must disconnect them from the power tree. VCCH in the power tree must still be powered on with the recommended decoupling capacitors listed in this document.
If only the high-speed 116G FHT transceivers/channels are not used in the F-Tile, the F-Tile power rails (ending with _FHT_GXF) in the power tree can be connected to GND. All other power rails remaining in F-Tile must be powered on according to the specification by using the recommended decoupling capacitors listed in this document.
