14.4. Chroma Key Replacement
If you turn off each plane comparison, it is equivalent to using a constant alpha specified by the matched alpha register as all pixels match. If a pixel falls in the specified range of all color planes, the IP applies the matched alpha to the most significant plane and it implements any enabled replacement values. The figure shows each red, green and blue planes fall within their respective ranges. The IP applies the matched alpha value (550) and replaces the red value with the specified replacement value (1023).
