2.3.2. Evaluate SDC-on-RTL Constraints
Running synthesis propagates any SDC-on-RTL constraints to the node netlist. You can evaluate the SDC-on-RTL constraints in the Post-Synthesis Constraints report and the Constraint Propagation Report following successful design synthesis.
The Constraint Propagation Report provides a chronological history of all changes made to each constraint during the compilation flow. This report is continually updated with entries for modified constraints, including reasons for any moves or changes, making this detailed tracking beneficial for troubleshooting if constraints change unexpectedly.
