3. Multiple Device Synchronization in DPA System

In the DPA system, all the misalignments must be compensated and multiple devices must synchronize. For beamforming, the alignment and synchronization affect the gain and directivity of the beamformer.

If the phase or time delay are not synchronized, beamformer will decorelate, which in turn will degrade selectivity and gain.
