31.1. About the Stream Cleaner IP

The Stream Cleaner IP fixes broken streams of video.

To comply with the Intel FPGA Streaming Video Protocol Specification, the Stream Cleaner:

  • Fixes broken packets.
  • Fixes the order of packets.

The IP has one Intel FPGA streaming video input and one Intel FPGA streaming video output. The IP is only available as a full variant. For more information on IP variants, refer to the Intel FPGA Streaming Video Protocol Specification.
