6.1.4. Specifying the SVD File

RiscFree* IDE supports device-specific System View Description (SVD) JSON format files which provide a high-level, textual description of registers and the associated bits. Intel® provides the SVD files as part of the Software Development Kit.

To specify the SVD file in Debug Configuration, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Debug Configuration window.

  2. Under the SVD Path tab, browse and select the SVD file.
  3. Click Debug to start debugging.
