2.2.2. Standalone Installation with the Quartus® Prime Programmer and Tools

You can install the standalone RiscFree* IDE with the Quartus® Prime Programmer and Tools.

The standalone RiscFree* IDE debug utility requires the Quartus® Prime Programmer and Tools binaries from the installed Quartus® Prime Programmer and Tools directory. Install the RiscFree* IDE in the same path as the Quartus® Prime Programmer and Tools: ../<Quartus_programmer_installation_directory>. If you select a different path, you receive an error message. Refer to Figure Installation Warning Message for the error message.
