4.3.11.1.2.1. Packing of Indirectly Accessed CLIC Registers

When the processor is accessing CLIC registers through Indirect Access CSR, the CLIC registers are packed together into 32-bit, as follows:
  • Four 8-bits clicintctl slices
  • Four 8-bits clicintattr slices
  • Thirty-two 1-bit clicintip slices
  • Thirty-two 1-bit clicintie slices

Thus, a single CSR Read/Write operation to Indirect Access CSR allows you to access the configuration and status of multiple interrupts, that are connected to CLIC.
