Adaptive brightness doesn't go below 40 despite varying changes in the light conditions of the laptop.
Resolution
Intel uses the Microsoft setting for this feature and doesn't set the value of 40. Referencing the below graph from a Microsoft article about Adaptive Brightness, Display Brightness below 40% adaptive brightness isn’t effective, so the value of 40 is the lowest effective value and it's what Microsoft sets.
