Effects of Terminating a Bare Metal Instance
A terminated Bare Metal instance cannot be restarted and the reservation will be lost. A new reservation needs to be requested. As many of our systems are in high demand, and all systems are sanitized before they are reassigned. It is possible that all data could be lost if the instance is terminated.
