2.2.3.2. Specifying the Project Name

Select a descriptive name for your project. The RiscFree* IDE for Altera® FPGAs imports the folder created previously to contain the application project files. You can still rename the project if needed. Follow the naming convention below when specifying the project name:
  • The only valid project name characters are letters, numbers, and the underscore (_) symbol.
  • Project names cannot contain spaces or special characters.
  • The first character in the project name must be a letter or underscore. The maximum filename length is 250 characters.
