3.4.1. Pre-requisite for Debugging Arm HPS Project

This example uses the Agilex™ 7 board. To prepare the platform you are planning to debug, follow these steps:

  1. Prepare a golden system reference design (GSRD) HPS .sof file or use a prebuilt HPS .sof file.
  2. Download the HPS .sof file to the Agilex™ 7 board using the Quartus® Prime Programmer and Tools.
