3.2.2.1.5. Configuring the FPGA
Before running your software, you must ensure the correct hardware design runs on the FPGA. To configure the FPGA, use the Quartus® Prime Programmer from the Quartus® Prime software.
The project directory for your hardware design contains an SRAM Object File (.sof) and the .qsys file. The .sof file contains the hardware design to be programmed in the FPGA.
