2.12. VR Telemetry

The debugger tool allows you to retrieve the value of VR register addresses from 0x00 to 0xFF for a valid PMBus address, with a register size of 1 byte or 2 bytes. The PMBus address should match the PMBus device 0 slave address specified in the Power Management & VID settings.

The value retrieved from the VR register address is in RAW format. Refer to the respective VR PMBus documentation for conversion instructions.

The debugger tool supports the following telemetry registers:
  • READ_VOUT (0x8B)
  • READ_IOUT (0x8C)
  • READ_TEMPERATURE_1 (0x8D)
  • READ_POUT (0x96)
  • READ_PIN (0x97)
  • READ_VIN(0x88)
  • READ_STATUS_WORD(0x79)
Note: This feature is only supported on Agilex™ 7 devices with SmartVID standard power devices.
