You can debug the RSU feature through the debugger tool GUI. Triggering reconfiguration of the factory image or an application image is supported. Connect the device to the debugger tool via the JTAG interface to enable the debugging. Then, configure the device with a RSU image to debug the RSU related issues.
The debugger tool allows to debug RSU related issues that include:
- Trigger reconfiguration of an image at specified start address.
- Read the application image addresses from the sub-partition table and configuration pointer block.
- Display the source, location, messages, and details of the error.
- Read current image and failing image addresses from RSU status.
- Clear the current image retry counter and error log status information.
