2.7. Temperature Sensor Monitoring

You can use the debugger tool to monitor the temperature measurement (in Celsius) of the core fabric, the High-Speed Serial Interface (HSSI) channels, and the Universal Interface Bus (UIB) blocks of SDM-based devices. The Universal Interface Bus (UIB) blocks are general-purpose System-in-Package (SiP) interfaces for High-Bandwidth DRAM Memory (HBM2) stacks.

The debugger tool queries the temperature sensor reading from the SDM through an SDM Mailbox command. Measurements are displayed in the chart that plots the temperature sensor reading. You can monitor, save the log measurement, and diagnose the gathered data.

Connect the device via the JTAG interface and configure the device to enable temperature sensor reading to allow the debugger tool to read temperature measurements from the device.

Note: Do not read the sensor measurement during device configuration.
