Organize Intel® VTune™ Profiler Server Results
Understand how you can manage profiling results when you use VTune Profiler Server.
When you use VTune Profiler Server, you can create a directory with a custom hierarchy and organize your results as needed. Use the --data-directory option to point VTune Profiler Server to your custom directory. Other users can then access all projects and results you save in the directory, irrespective of folder names and levels of nesting.
This option can be particularly useful if you use an HPC scheduler to collect VTune Profiler performance data regularly and you save the data in a shared folder on the network to examine later. For example, you can organize your results folder by users and their workloads:
