4.3.1. Use i_stats_snapshot to Read Stats Counters

Assert i_stats_snapshot to sample the current values of the IP core statistics counters. Refer to the following diagram as an example.

Assert i_stats_snapshot to capture the value D3 of the stats counters in the stats_CSRs. Hold i_stats_snapshot asserted until you have completed reading the D3 value of the stats_CSRs, which may require multiple read transactions across the Avalon® Memory Mapped Reconfiguration Interface.
