This section describes the Agilex™ 7 FPGA development board's power supply. A laptop style DC power supply is provided with the development kit. Use only the supplied power supply. The power supply has an auto sensing input voltage of 100–240 V AC power and output of 12 V DC power at 20 A to the development board. The 12 V DC input power is then stepped down to various power rails used by the board components.
Power telemetry is provided via the MAX® 10 and I2C interface to the various voltage regulators and temperature sensors on the board. The power utilization is displayed on a GUI that shows power consumption versus time.
