A.5.1.1. F-Tile PMA Overview

In the Agilex™ 7 devices, the F-Tile has up to four F-Tile High-Speed Transceivers (FHT) and sixteen F-Tile General-Purpose Transceivers (FGT), each with integrated advanced high-speed analog signal conditioning, and clock data recovery circuits for chip-to-chip, chip-to-module, and backplane applications.

The FHT PMA offers a wide range of data rate support. The FHT PMA supports 24-29 Gbps, 48-58 Gbps for NRZ signaling, and 48-58 Gbps, 96-116 Gbps for PAM4 signaling.

The FGT PMA supports multiple protocols and offers a wide range of data rate support. The FGT PMA supports 1Gbps up to 32Gbps for NRZ signaling and 20Gbps to 58.125Gbps for PAM4 signaling.
