A.5.6.1. F-Tile FHT Tuning Flow

In the tuning examples, BER and eye height are used as figures of merit. The tuning flow to find the optimal TX equalization settings is described in the figure below:

BER is the Bit Error Rate. The eye height value is in mV unit and can be used when auto adaptation is ON and OFF. For NRZ and PAM4 signaling, you can use the Transceiver Toolkit for eye height readouts.
