The following sections describe the recommended equalization settings for the F-Tile FGT PMA transmitter and receiver to deliver baseline transceiver performance with tuning capability to optimize performance for your design implementation. The F-Tile FGT Transmitter PMA offers pre-emphasis and linear equalization to address signal distortion and degradation.
