Selecting Display Options
The QuickWin run-time library provides a number of
routines that you can use to define text and graphics displays. These routines
determine the graphics environment characteristics and control the cursor.
To display graphics, you need to set the desired
graphics mode using
SETWINDOWCONFIG
, and then
call the routines needed to create the graphics. SETWINDOWCONFIG is the routine
you use to configure window properties. You can use
DISPLAYCURSOR
to control
whether the cursor will be displayed. The cursor becomes invisible after a call
to
SETWINDOWCONFIG
. To display
the cursor you must explicitly turn on cursor visibility with
DISPLAYCURSOR
($GCURSORON).
SETGTEXTROTATION
sets the current
orientation for font text output, and
GETGTEXTROTATION
returns the
current setting. The current orientation is used in calls to
OUTGTEXT
.
