Challenges

Customers are currently limited by memory capacity, which requires them having to scale out and have a larger hardware footprint. Scaling up to increase memory capacity is often cost-prohibitive.

Solution
  • With 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and Intel® Optane™ DC persistent memory (Memory Mode), Altibase can take advantage of the larger memory capacities per socket, while making it a more cost-effective solution at the same time.
  • Customers can now keep more data for transaction processing closer to the CPU, with negligible performance impact1 at a reduced cost (see chart showing up to 17% performance improvement for a given cost).2 3 4

Software and workloads used in performance tests may have been optimized for performance only on Intel® microprocessors. Performance tests, such as SYSmark* and MobileMark*, are measured using specific computer systems, components, software, operations, and functions. Any change to any of those factors may cause the results to vary. You should consult other information and performance tests to assist you in fully evaluating your contemplated purchases, including the performance of that product when combined with other products.
