Intel Museum – Frequently Asked Questions
Visiting the Museum
Admission and parking are always free.
We are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays. The Intel Store is open Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We recommend checking www.intel.com/museum before you visit, as we occasionally close for special events or exhibit installation.
Reservations are not required for self-guided visits. Guided tours and school/youth group programs require a reservation. We ask that groups with more than 30 people register even if they plan to be self-guided, to allow us to plan accordingly.
Your visit duration will depend on your interest level and the age of those in your group. An average stay for a self-guided visit is approximately 1 hour. Guided tours last approximately 1 hour and we recommend allowing additional time to explore on your own. Scheduled school/youth group visits last 2 hours and we recommend an additional 20-30 minutes to explore after the program concludes.
Bags are allowed in the museum. Sealed containers of beverages and food may be kept in backpacks. Eating or drinking is not allowed in the museum. Bag and coat check facilities are not available.
All children under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult. The adult chaperone is responsible for the children’s behavior. There are numerous interactive experiences to engage both children and adults.
Yes, photography and videography are allowed. Tripods and monopods are not allowed. News photographers and videographers must arrange their visit in advance; please email museum@intel.com.
There are no on-site restaurant facilities available for museum visitors. There are numerous options nearby within walking and driving distance.
The Intel Museum is not available as an event venue.

Yes. summer camp/youth group self-guided programs require a reservation. Our scheduling calendar opens 90 days in advance and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Yes, activity books will be distributed when you arrive.
Up to 50 students plus chaperones can schedule a self-guided visit.
Kindergarten through 5th grade.
We suggest allowing one hour for this visit.
We require 1 adult per 6 students. Chaperones must remain with their groups at all times. Chaperones will lead kindergarten and 1st grade students through the program.

Students can eat their bagged lunches on the campus front plaza by advance reservation. Once your visit has been approved, please reach out to see if we can accommodate this request. No restaurant facilities are available to purchase food.
