Detailed Description

Introduction:

This is the Windows* Zero Copy version, which is applicable for Bartlett Lake‑S Hybrid MR3 and 12P MR1.

Detail Description:

The Display Virtualization Drivers for the Bartlett Lake S package provide Windows display virtualization support for virtual machine environments on Bartlett Lake S platforms.

The package includes User-Mode Driver (UMD) and Kernel-Mode Driver (KMD) components and is based on the Windows Indirect Display Driver (IDD) model. The UMD handles display processing, while communication with the KMD occurs via an IOCTL interface. The KMD further interfaces with the host Linux QEMU hypervisor using the virtio protocol to share display frames. The driver uses a zero-copy design and supports key features such as multi-monitor configurations, hot plug detection (HPD), and hardware cursor.
