3.2. Dynamic Reconfiguration Flow
To switch the transceiver datarate or the profile of the PMA, you must follow the dynamic reconfiguration flow using the GTS Dynamic Reconfiguration controller IP.
Note: The dynamic reconfiguration flow does not apply to the 2.5G MGBASE PCS and PMA variant and the USXGMII variant because these variants operate at a static transceiver datarate.
The table below shows the transceiver profile configurations. Profile-0 is the default start up profile which can be modified in the Agilex™ 5 dynamic reconfiguration assignment editor in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software.
