You can use Ashling* RiscFree* IDE for Intel® FPGAs to launch and command the Simics simulation. The Intel® Simics® simulator for Intel® FPGAs is only available for Linux OS, so you can only use the Ashling* RiscFree* IDE for Intel® FPGAs with the simulator in the Linux OS (except for remote access). Instructions on setting up an Intel® Simics® simulation session with Ashling* RiscFree* IDE for Intel® FPGAs are provided in Starting a Simulation with Ashling* RiscFree* IDE section in the Intel® Simics® Simulator for Intel® FPGAs: User Guide.
