2.1.1.1.1. SDI

The Serial Digital Interface (SDI) mode in the GTS PMA/FEC Direct PHY IP enables high-speed transmission of uncompressed digital video signals. Commonly used in professional broadcasting, SDI supports a range of standards including SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI. The GTS PMA/FEC Direct PHY IP mode offers a streamlined interface directly between the FPGA and the physical layer, ensuring low latency and high performance, critical for demanding video applications.
