4.2. Thermal Analysis with the PTC

To generate thermal design parameters with the PTC, you must provide the design information to the PTC and then activate the thermal calculator.

To do this. set the Calculation mode parameter on the PTC Main tab to any of the available values other than Use a constant junction temperature.

The thermal calculator works only for maximum power. In some older versions of the PTC, this parameter is not set by default, and you may need to set it.
