4.3.2. The Power Functionality

The Power and Temperature Monitor tool reports most power rails’ voltage, current, and power information on the board. It also collects temperature from the FPGA die, power modules, and diodes assembled on PCB.

The Power and Temperature Monitor communicates with the system MAX® 10 device through UART, and only a micro-USB cable is required.

Select the Power icon on BTS GUI to launch the Power and Temperature Monitor feature. The Power and Temperature Monitor GUI includes two modules:
  • Power Monitor
  • Temperature Monitor
