3.1.4. Unsupported PMA/FEC/PCS Modes

The GTS PMA/FEC Direct PHY IP does not support the following PMA/FEC/PCS modes:

  • TX simplex and RX simplex mode for FEC Direct mode
  • PMA direct mode with gearbox feature
  • PCS66 mode with FEC
  • GPON, HDMI, OTN28, SATA/SAS and SDI for PCS and FEC Direct modes
28 OTN only supports OTU25u RS(528, 514)FEC for FEC direct mode.
