3.1.3. PCS Direct Supported Modes

The GTS PMA/FEC Direct PHY IP supports the following for PCS Direct modes:

  • IEEE MII Interface
  • IEEE_FLEXE_66
  • PCS66
  • Supports only the Basic setting for the PMA configuration rules parameter option
  • Supports only the system PLL clocking mode
  • Supports both the simplex and the duplex operation modes
  • Supports x2 and x4 bonded mode
  • All PCS modes support 1 Gbps to GTS transceiver maximum supported data rate 29
