DEVICE_ID_DATA_x

Before reading the DEVICE_ID_DATA_x registers, you are required to read the FLASH_RD_RDID register. Each supported flash device has its specific device ID data. Refer to the datasheet of the respective flash devices.

The following example is based on the MT25QU256ABA flash:

Table 258.  DEVICE_ID_DATA_x Fields
Bit Name Description Access Default Value
31:0 DEVICE_ID_DATA_0
  • Fourth byte: Indicates the number of remaining ID bytes
  • Third byte: Memory capacity
  • Second byte: Memory type
  • First byte: Manufacturer ID
R 0x1019BB20
31:0 DEVICE_ID_DATA_1
  • Fourth byte: Unique ID code (Byte 2)
  • Third byte: Unique ID code (Byte 1)
  • Second byte: Device configuration information
  • First byte: Extended device ID
R Refer to the flash datasheet
31:0 DEVICE_ID_DATA_2 Unique ID code (Byte 6 to 3) R Refer to the flash datasheet
31:0 DEVICE_ID_DATA_3 Unique ID code (Byte 10 to 7) R Refer to the flash datasheet
31:0 DEVICE_ID_DATA_4 Unique ID code (Byte 14 to 11) R Refer to the flash datasheet
