4.2. Analog Parameter Tab Options
Set the analog parameters in the Analog Parameter tab of the parameter editor. If you don't, Quartus® Prime Pro Edition automatically selects a valid value, which might not suit your board, and generate a critical warning to remind you to set the parameters in your design's .qsf file.
For more details on analog parameter options, refer to the F-Tile Architecture and PMA and FEC Direct PHY IP User Guide
Figure 7. Analog Parameter Options in Parameter Editor
Note: The settings in the .qsf file take precedence over those in the analog parameter tab of the parameter editor. You must remove any settings in the .qsf file before configuring the parameter editor.
Parameter | Values | Default Setting | Description |
---|---|---|---|
FGT TX EQ | |||
FGT TXEQ Post Tap 1, 1.0 step size | 0 to 19 | 0 | These parameters allow you to choose between automatic adaptation and manual tuning. For manual tuning, options appear based on the QSF settings. |
FGT TXEQ Main Tap, 1.0 step size | 0 to 55 | 35 | |
FGT TXEQ Pre Tap 1, 1.0 step size | 0 to 15 | 5 | |
TX EQ Post Tap 2, 1.0 step size | 0 to 7 | 0 | |
FGT RX | |||
Select FGT RX On-chip Termination |
|
RX_ONCHIP_TERMINATION_R_1 (85 Ohms | This parameter activates the FGT Rx on-chip termination register and aligns it with the QSF setting for the selected option |
Enable FGT RX AC-Couple |
|
ENABLE | This parameter enables or disables the FGT RX on-board AC coupling and aligns it with the QSF setting for the selected option. |
Enable FGT VSR MODE |
|
VSR_MODE_LOW_LOSS | This parameter enables or disables the FGT RX on-board AC coupling and aligns it with the QSF setting for the specific selected option |
