Useful Tips

Hidden Buttons

You may need to adjust your screen resolution or window size to see all buttons and options available in the form.

Be sure to use the down arrow next to the buttons if you don’t see any options or if the Submit to Intel button is missing.

Editing a Request After Submission

You will NOT be able to edit the form after a request has been submitted. Instead, you can communicate any changes to your Intel contact through the Chatter section. In the Chatter section, click the Post tab to start a conversation.

Request Form Drafts

Save as a Draft

If you do not click the Submit Quote button, the quote and respective quote lines will be saved in draft status until further action is taken.

Delete Draft Status

Quotes or quote lines can be deleted by the customer when still in draft form. To do so, they can use the menu dropdown on the quote or quote line to select Delete.

Recall a Quote or Quote Line

After you’ve submitted a quote request, you may recall the entire quote or a specific line from the quote, so long as the quote line is in Field Review status. This is helpful if you need to remove the entire request or individual line to make edits or delete without having to reach out to our sales reps.

A recalled quote or quote line will be moved back into Draft status and will no longer be seen by our sales reps in their queue. You will then be able to make your edits and resubmit or delete the quote or quote line.

To recall the entire quote, use the dropdown at the top of the quote page, and select Recall. This will remove all quote lines from the quote that have a status of Field Review. To recall a single quote line, use the dropdown next to the quote line, and select Recall.

Note: You will only be able to recall the quote or quote line if it has not been processed and moved to another line status. This includes quote lines that are in Change Request status.

Quote Groups

When submitting multiple quotes of different types for the same end customer, use the Quote Group feature to connect the quotes to help the pricing team determine the best pricing.

Step 1: To create a quote group, navigate to the Quote Group section on the bottom of the quote page, and click Link Quote.

Step 2: In the Link Quotes window, enter the search terms and select the appropriate Search Criteria to locate the quote to connect, and click Search.

Step 3: Select the appropriate quote and click Link Quote.

Both quotes will display in the Quote Group window, indicating they have been connected for the pricing team.

To add or remove quotes from the Quote Group, click Manage Quote Group.

Note: To add quotes to a group, remove the existing links and begin again.
