10.4.1. Resource Utilization of FPGA AI Suite IP

Quartus® Prime synthesis provides the pre-fit resource utilization. You can view the FPGA AI Suite IP resource utilization after you have an FPGA AI Suite IP instance added in your FPGA design and run synthesis successfully. Running synthesis on your design helps get an estimate on how full the device is which can impact routing and power consumption on your device. The synthesis results also provide insight into resource availability for additional hardware or additional instances of the FPGA AI Suite IP in your design. The post-fit usage can be seen in the compilation reports after the Quartus® Prime fitter has run.
