2.5. Altera® AXI4 Streaming BFM Packages, Classes, Interfaces, and Modules

This section provides the details of the Altera® AXI4 Streaming BFM implementation, from the most basic and elementary building blocks and moving upward through the BFM design hierarchy. The altera_lnsim.sv library includes these packages.

Other than the top-level modules and interface of the BFM, the Altera® AXI4 Streaming Transmitter and Receiver BFMs are implemented in SystemVerilog classes. The following sections provide functional descriptions of the modules, interfaces, and logic, as well as class descriptions in Unified Modeling Language (UML) format.
