2. Dual Simplex Mode with the HDMI Simplex IP
If you need RX and TX to run independently, then you need to use dual simplex mode. To implement dual simplex mode in Agilex™ 5 devices, create a dual simplex group that consists of an independent simplex TX IP (with one or more channels) and an independent simplex RX IP (with one or more channels).
Dual Simplex mode is available only when you select HDMI and Transceiver from the Wrapper Option field, which is in the HDMI Wrapper section. Selecting this option places the Transceiver IP within the HDMI IP. This configuration referred to as an Integrated Transceiver.
