3.1.4. Unsupported PMA/FEC/PCS Modes

The GTS PMA/FEC Direct PHY Intel FPGA IP does not support the following PMA/FEC/PCS modes:

  • No support for TX simplex and RX simplex mode for FEC Direct mode.
  • Gearbox feature is disabled for PMA Direct mode.
  • No FEC support for PCS66 mode.
  • No support for HDMI, SDI, OTN and DisplayPort for PCS Direct mode.
