To use Quad SPI (QSPI) flash Access and Remote System Upgrade (RSU) feature in an Agilex™ 5 device, replace the Generic Serial Flash Interface (GSFI) IP and Remote Update IP that a Cyclone® V device uses with the Mailbox Client IP, as shown in the following image:
In an Agilex™ 5 device, the simulation model for the Mailbox Client IP is enabled. It supports a limited set of SDM commands sufficient to verify if a host controller design is interfacing correctly with the SDM via the Mailbox Client IP.
