8.4.2. Hardware Performance Improvements

Several simple hardware changes can provide a substantial improvement in ISR performance. These changes involve editing and regenerating the hardware component, and recompiling the Intel FPGA design.

In some cases, these hardware changes also require changes in the software architecture or implementation.
