8.5. Simulation Requirements

The simulation models for the Symmetric Cryptographic Accelerator Hard IP are delivered as a part of a separate add-on installer. These models are not part of the generic Quartus® Prime Pro Edition installer. Without the add-on installer, you can compile your design using the Symmetric Cryptographic Accelerator Hard IP, which is visible in the Quartus® Prime IP Catalog but your simulation generates an error message.
