About the Change Manager

The Change Manager allows you to track and manage post-compilation changes. It maintains a record of every post-compilation change that you make with the Chip Planner, Resource Property Editor, SignalProbe, or Tcl script.

The Change Manager allows you to apply changes, to roll back changes, to delete changes, and to export change records to a text file (.txt), a Comma-Separated Value File (.csv), or a Tcl Script File (.tcl). The Change Manager tracks dependencies between changes, so that when you apply, roll back, or delete a change, any prerequisite or dependent changes are also applied, rolled back, or deleted. In addition, you can sort and filter the list of change records to display only the records of interest.

To open the Change Manager, point to Utility Windows on the View menu and click Change Manager.
