2.1. Configuring the Quartus® Prime Project

Follow these steps to create a Quartus® Prime project:

  1. In the Quartus® Prime software, click File > New Project Wizard to create a new Quartus® Prime project. The wizard prompts you to specify a device. To open existing project, go to step 4.
  2. Specify the device family (for example, Agilex™ 3 (C-Series), Agilex™ 5 (E-Series/D-Series), or MAX® 10) and select the device that supports your design.
  3. Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the New Project creation. Go to step 1 of the Configuring the IP section.
  4. For existing project, go to File > Open to open an existing Quartus® Prime project.
