3.3.5. Programming Internal Flash Memory

After generating the .pof file, you can use the Quartus® Prime Programmer to program the internal flash memory through JTAG connection. The following figure shows an example of the Quartus® Prime Programmer.

To program a .pof file into MAX® 10 devices, follow these steps:

  1. Click Auto Detect to display the devices in the JTAG chain.
  2. Click Add File and select the path to the desired .pof.
  3. Turn on the Program/Configure option for the added file.
  4. Click Start to download the selected file to the FPGA. Configuration is complete when the progress bar reaches 100%.
